Shine the Light Campaign Overview
Developing countries lose billions of dollars each year due to corporate tax dodging, bribery, corruption and illicit financial flows.
This is money that could be used to provide essential services like healthcare, education and water and break down the barriers for millions of people living in poverty.
Since 2012, we have joined Christians from around the world in shining the light on corruption and unethical tax dodging practices, bringing them out from the darkness into the light where they can be overcome.
This collective appeal from ordinary citizens culminated when the world’s most influential leaders (G20) met in Brisbane, Australia last November. In the lead up to this event our 'Shine the Light' campaign called on world leaders for integrity and transparency in the global financial system for the sake of the world’s poorest.
