Can you help us thank your Tasmanian Senate representative Lisa Singh?

Recently Senator Lisa Singh has spoken on Australian Aid and we’d like to say thanks.

In Parliament Senator Singh spoke of Australian Aid:

Tropical Cyclone Winston serves as a reminder of why our aid program matters. Australia delivers $35 million a year in bilateral aid to Fiji. It is good and it is right that aid be delivered by Australian government officials and Australian aid organisations, and my support goes to those organisations.

Whenever a politician engages with the issues we all care passionately about, it’s important to encourage, thank, or even challenge them. It doesn't mean we support that politician, or endorse everything they say. But if they don’t hear from passionate people in their electorate when they do speak up, it’s easy for them to give up, get cynical, or assume their electorate doesn’t care about Australian aid.

After sending an email to Senator Lisa Singh you can send them a quick tweet or share on facebook what they said by clicking the buttons below.
