Campaign Update

Thousands of Christians from across the country have become part of Hope for Creation, signing the pledge to act, learn, raise awareness and pray for God's creation and for the world's poorest people.

In 2014, 50 churches and groups took part in a Hope for Creation Sunday event. Here's how one particular church engaged in Hope for Creation Sunday.

In 2015, we plan to raise a powerful Christian voice for stronger climate action and for care for God's creation. We take heart from renewed global effortsout to address climate change. For example, the US has committed to deeper emissions reductions (26–28% below 2005 levels by 2025) and China has committed to reverse emissions growth by 2030.

Please continue to pray:

  • For the Paris Climate Conference, where the objective is to achieve a binding and universal agreement on climate, from all the nations of the world. Pray that this would become a reality.
  • Pray also that our government delivers and strengthens commitments to emissions reduction, including providing more certainty for renewable energy.
