On the last weekend in November, world leaders will be gathering in Paris on the eve of the United Nations Climate Summit. Meanwhile, across the globe, millions will gather in their cities to create the biggest climate event the world has ever seen. Let’s stand together to protect God’s creation and stand with the vulnerable poor whose lives and livelihoods are threatened by climate change.

Optional: Faith groups are meeting at 12pm at Pitt St Uniting Church for an ecumenical service led by Pacific Islander groups. Wear purple to join with other people of faith or red to stand with those on the frontlines of climate change.

Featuring performances from Ursula Yovich, Deni Hines, Wendy Mathews, Melinda Schneider, Darren Percival, choirs and a samba band; speeches from Tim Flannery, Clover Moore and Aunty Jenny Munroe - this will be a colourful, family-friendly event, with art, music and dance .

Includes a peaceful march from the Domain and through the streets of Sydney.
