We are currently looking for an Events and Travel Coordinator to join the team!
Overview of the Role
We are looking for someone highly flexible in terms of days and hours to support the Micah Australia team with travel and events coordination for two of our flagship events:
The Pacific Australian Emerging Leaders Summit (PAELS), taking place at the end of November 2023 in Sydney and Canberra.
The Women Leaders Breakfasts, taking place in March/April 2024 in six Australian State capital cities.
This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and practical skills in an events and travel role in the aid and development sector. As a member of a small-sized organisation the coordinator will be guided, but also required to work independently and to take full charge of the role.
This is an events role with gradually increasing hours up until each event, with long hours and travel required for both events. Whilst this is a contractor role, beginning in June 2023 and ending in April 2024 there is potential for more work after April 2024 for other Micah Australia events.
